Into the Eye - Silver Medal Prize

I made four similar necklaces in 2014 and entered them into four different contests. I was very surprised when each of them was awarded an honor or advancement in their respective competitions.

I used some azurite cabs for the center. The stone is a composite made from malachite and lapis. I love the way the green and blue make patterns that are reminiscent of land and ocean. I used some 2mm gemstone beads in the bezel wrap.

The necklace was made as a part of a set. The bracelet and ring are made with floral components woven into a square stitch base.
