Beaded Mask

My Bead Society's summer challenge this year was to make a beaded mask. My entry, Green Goddess, was awarded People's Choice. My inspiration was a Green Man. I decided to make a feminine version to celebrate rebirth and renewal.

First I beaded the components to embellish a satin mask with flowers and leaves.

I used a hot glue gun to attach my components to the mask.

The finished mask was full of texture and turned out to be very wearable.
